Ramón Carlos Montaño Cordova (born August 11, 1982 in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer in the Light Welterweight division.[1]

After dropping Dmitriy Salita in the first round, their bout would end in a very disputed draw.[2] He would then lose a very close decision to David Diaz.[3][4]

On October 15, 2010 Montaño lost to undefeated Mexican American Frankie Gomez in Indio, California.[5]

Ramón's next fight will be against undefeated Mexican American Jesse Vargas on the undercard of Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana.[6]
